About

Built by a physiotherapist, for everyone

Triagr exists because too many people end up in the wrong place when something hurts — waiting hours in ED for something a physio could treat, or sitting on pain at home that needed urgent attention.

The problem

When you're in pain, the Australian healthcare system can feel confusing. Do you need the emergency department? Should you call your GP? Can you go straight to a physiotherapist? The answer depends on your specific symptoms — and getting it wrong costs you time, money, and sometimes your health.

What Triagr does

Triagr asks you a series of plain-language questions about your symptoms and gives you a clear recommendation — ED, GP, physiotherapist, or self-manage at home. The questions are based on clinical triage logic developed by a registered Australian physiotherapist with experience across the full musculoskeletal system.

Triagr covers eleven conditions: lower back pain, neck pain, mid and upper back pain, knee pain, shoulder pain, hip pain, ankle and foot pain, elbow pain, wrist and hand pain, jaw pain, and dizziness and balance problems.

The clinical foundation

Every triage module in Triagr was designed by a registered physiotherapist and reviewed against current clinical guidelines. The routing logic — which symptoms go to ED, which to GP, which to physio — reflects real clinical decision-making, not generic health information.

Triagr is a health information tool, not a diagnostic service. It provides general guidance to help you make an informed decision about where to seek care. Always consult a qualified health professional for personal medical advice.

For physiotherapy clinics

Triagr connects pre-qualified patients to registered physiotherapy clinics. When a patient completes a triage and is recommended a physiotherapist, they see a directory of local practices. Clinics pay only when a patient taps through to their listing.
